Ted Stevens Center Presents: Science and Security at the Poles

The Ted Stevens Center network is invited to join us on September 29 for a virtual preview of the 2026 Anchorage Security and Defense Dialogue. The session, “Science, Diplomacy, and Security Cooperation at the Poles,” will feature TSC Arctic Interest Chairs, Mr. Evan Bloom, Dr. John Farrell, and Associate Director Janae Cooley.

In the Arctic, international scientific cooperation remains closely intertwined with security. This conversation will draw on decades of research and diplomatic experience at both poles to reveal the scientific and diplomatic underpinnings of Arctic security cooperation.
