This focused discussion will examine the Alaska National Guard’s support to civil authorities across Alaska’s Arctic and sub-Arctic operating environment, including interagency coordination, search and rescue operations, remote and austere logistics, and operational decision-making. The session will also highlight key lessons learned from the largest civilian air evacuation conducted in the State of Alaska.
