Arctic-Pacific Security
APSD establishes a new framework for international Arctic collaboration. Encompassing the confluence of the Arctic and Pacific Oceans, APSD provides an opportunity to engage Indo-Pacific allies on Arctic issues of mutual interest including strategic competition with China, freedom of navigation and international shipping, fisheries, and polar research.
High North Security Dialogue
HNSD focuses on the evolving defense and security environment of the European High North, encompassing the northern land and maritime regions of Norway, Sweden, Finland, and their approaches. Participants examine the strategic terrain, infrastructure, mobility corridors, and regional operating conditions that shape defense readiness and multinational cooperation along NATO’s northern flank.
North American Arctic Security Dialogue
NAASD grounds Arctic security in the homeland defense context, emphasizing the security challenges of the U.S., Canadian, and Greenlandic Arctic. The dialogue aims to strengthen cross-border coordination, identify opportunities to enhance situational awareness, and advance operational readiness across the Northern approaches to the homeland.
